Summer Cheese-Making Workshop (Mozzerella & Feta) : Cooloola Coast (Lindols Macadamias)
Learn to make Mozzerella & Feta – quickly and easily! The class is perfect for the complete beginner or seasoned cheese-maker.
Location : The beautiful Lindols Macadamia Nut Farm, at 1565 Tin Can Bay Road, Goomboorian, Qld. Located between Gympie and Rainbow Beach/Tin Can Bay (Approximately 1 hour from Noosa)
This is a 100% hands-on cheese making workshop where you will learn about milk selection for cheese making, inoculating and renneting the milk, and finally how to turn the curd into cheese. The hands-on approach provides you with the confidence to make these delicious cheeses at home.
The techniques learnt can easily be applied outside of the course so that you can make your own cheeses at home. This workshop is designed to be informative, and just as importantly, fun and relaxing. Lastly, you will leave with the motivation, confidence and knowledge to get started on your own cheese-making journey.
Class sizes limited to 8
- You will take your cheese home with you.
- Everything you need for the workshop is provided, including a morning tea.
You will need to bring your stories, an containers, apron and head scarf/chef hat.
You will be able to browse the Farms shop to purchase Lindols amazing delicious nuts.
